White Shadow Films exists to be an influential production company that has long-term goals to produce theatrical biographical feature films, edgy dramas, and documentaries made for television. The company’s goals are to: (i) be directly involved with each project from script development right through to marketing and distribution, (ii) liaise with other industry professionals cultivating purposeful and lasting relationships, and (iii) keep building a small team of passionate partners who share the same perspectives, moving the company forward both creatively and economically. We are excited to partner with donors who are like-minded about seeing White Shadow Films flourish as a local production company, bringing stories to life in the international markets. Supporting the projects in it's factual division, namely; two timely, and socially relevant follow-up documentaries completing The Value Of Human Life series, you'll be educating audiences, elevating truth, and helping shift culture in a positive direction.

Andrew Douglas:  Writer, Director, Producer

A quiet and humble visionary, Andrew Douglas founded the Queensland-based production company White Shadow Films several years ago. It announced eight projects in development, underpinned by a clear desire to produce quality content with fact-based storylines. Andrew is a writer, director, and a valued member of the International Documentary Association, and was invited to join the Documentary Producer’s Alliance in 2019. After realising the successful completion of the company’s first film in its new documentary series - Ten Million Throwaways - narrated by Michael Madsen (Donnie Brasco, The Hateful Eight, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill), the film was acquired by global distributor Gravitas Ventures and released in more than 190 countries into one billion+ homes. Andrew has travelled extensively throughout America and the world, working with a host of motion picture industry professionals, striving daily to get the best out of his production crews, peers, and associates.

Liv Chapman:  Film Editor, Creative Designer

Liv Chapman learned the editing trade through hands-on experience. To gain access and experience to filming, Chapman shot weddings for free, while producing a weekly news video platform which lasted over 10 years. Chapman has also freelanced, creating and producing ad promos, model reels, and shooting behind-the-scenes footage for several production companies, and has worked on various web series, and a new YouTube channel for a non-profit environmental foundation. She has been based on the Gold Coast in Queensland for the past 18 years, but is originally from Tasmania. She met writer, director and producer Andrew Douglas at a backyard BBQ at a mutual friends house in 2016. Since then they have been an inseparable creative force, honing their skills and crafting stories for worldwide movie audiences.
